I was looking back over my book reviews, and while they are thorough and entertaining (at least to me) they are SO. LONG. I've read at least a dozen, probably far more, books since I last did a review, and the idea of doing a long book review for even one of two of them rather exhausts me. So, I came up with the idea of a Flash Review, a quick, paragraph-or-two review of a book, just to give the gist of the plot/point, some concise comments, and a recommendation yay or nay. I will still do my full-length reviews, but will reserve them for books that I think deserve that sort of attention. Flash Reviews will still allow me to review books yet not feel intimidated to write something long or too-in-depth. Seriously, having a baby changes everything!
